Counteroffensive: Ukrainian artillery works in the Bakhmut direction

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian artillery continues to destroy Russian occupiers and their equipment, referring to the Telegram message of the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskii.
"Bakhmut direction. Destruction by the artillery of the 60th separate mechanized Inhulets Brigade of the Russian mortar team with subsequent detonation of ammunition. Quality work," Syrskii wrote under the video.
The situation in the Bakhmut direction
Ukrainian forces continue counteroffensive actions in the Bakhmut direction.
As noted by the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskii, at the end of July, all conditions have been created for the de-occupation of Bakhmut.
According to Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar, during the past week, 2 square kilometers were liberated in the Bakhmut direction. Since the beginning of the counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 37 square kilometers have been liberated.
Military expert Oleksiy Hetman, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, stated that to liberate Bakhmut and bring it back under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it is not necessary to encircle the city from all sides.
