Consequences of shelling of Odesa: Casualties reported, multi-story buildings school damaged

In Odesa, two people were killed and five others injured as a result of a Russian airstrike on the evening of the day before. Multi-story buildings, a supermarket, and a school were damaged by the drone strike, according to Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper and Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
"Due to the enemy attack, residential multi-story buildings, private homes, a supermarket, a school, and passenger cars were damaged. Fires broke out in some areas, which our rescuers are currently extinguishing. As a result of the strike, two people were killed, and five others were injured," the official reported on his Telegram channel.
The head of the regional military administration added that medical personnel are providing all necessary assistance to the victims.
"The elimination of the consequences of the strike is ongoing. Tents are being set up at the sites to provide additional assistance," the statement from Kiper reads.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Odesa reported that after the airstrike, information about casualties is coming in. According to Trukhanov, three people have already been hospitalized.
The mayor reported that residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged in various districts of Odesa.
"Fires broke out, and reports of casualties are coming in. An elderly couple, who lived on the top floor of a building with their shepherd dog Jack, is out of contact. Their children have reported that they are unable to reach them," the mayor of Odesa informed.
He also mentioned that the school building suffered minor damage – four windows were shattered.
"Currently, it is open to all those in need of support, and hot tea will also be provided to help people warm up. Tents are being set up at the sites for additional assistance," said the mayor of Odesa, also publishing photos on his Telegram channel showing the aftermath of the drone attack on the city.
