In Odesa, significant damage to civilian infrastructure has been reported following a large-scale enemy drone attack. Fires have also broken out in the city, reports the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

"The enemy attacked Odesa with strike drones. There is significant damage to civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings," the official said.

He added that in some areas of Odesa, fires have erupted.

Efforts to eliminate the aftermath of the drone attack are ongoing in the city. As of now, there is no information regarding potential casualties.

"Currently, all relevant services are working to mitigate the effects of the attack. Information about the injured is being clarified," said the head of the Regional Military Administration.

Intensive drone attack on Odesa

As previously reported, a series of explosions were heard in Odesa on the night of May 1. Enemy kamikaze drones were observed moving toward the city from the Black Sea.

Residents were urged to remain in shelters until the drone attack, described as massive, was over.

Monitoring groups also reported fires in Odesa as a result of the drone strikes. Russian invaders targeted the city with kamikaze drones in several waves.
