Commander of Third Assault Brigade names main direction of enemy's strike
The situation in the Avdiivka direction remains extremely difficult but controlled. This remains the main direction of the enemy's attack, which concentrates its main efforts here and tries to advance in every possible way, states the commander of the second assault battalion of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, Dmytro Kukharchuk.
"Our infantry, the assault troops, are making special efforts. These are people who do not sleep day and night, under constant artillery shelling and attacks from UAVs, they destroy the enemy. Despite this, the enemy's advance, starting from Avdiivka and ending these days, has been successfully stabilized," the commander said.
According to him, on this front, the enemy is concentrating not one or two brigades, but an army consisting of several divisions. Therefore, it cannot be said at the moment that the advance has been completely stopped. The enemy is suffering colossal losses: since the Avdiivka operation, the occupiers have lost over 10,000 personnel.
"When we talk about the enemy's advance on the territories, they have a certain success. If we talk about the ratio of losses to the number of territories taken, then this does not correspond to either military science or common sense," Kukharchuk added.
The spokesperson for the Naval Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, spoke about the situation in the Black and Azov Seas. He called the situation stable, as there are currently no Russian missile carriers there. They are stationed at their bases, and the situation remains stable.
Moreover, according to the British Ministry of Defense, Russia is recruiting about 30,000 new soldiers into the army every month. This allows it to cover losses and continue the war against Ukraine. Britain also notes that Russia has a significant quantitative advantage, particularly in equipment and ammunition.
