Some unnamed countries of the Coalition of the Willing have agreed to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles amid Russia’s massive attacks on civilian targets and the civilian population, according to the UK government.

According to the UK government’s statement, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcomed the announcements made by some coalition partners regarding the supply of long-range missiles to Ukraine.

At the same time, the UK government did not disclose which countries had agreed to provide the long-range missiles. It also remains unknown what specific types of missiles these will be.

Meeting in Paris: What is known

On Thursday, September 4, a meeting of the countries of the Coalition of the Willing on supporting Ukraine was held in Paris. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in and shared a video from the event's start.

Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak reported that, together with National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov, he held a series of bilateral meetings.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, during today’s meeting, addressed the Coalition of the Willing, stating that they had given Ukraine an "unbreakable promise."

Meanwhile, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen assured that members of the Coalition of the Willing are working on three main areas concerning security guarantees for Ukraine and strengthening Europe’s defense as a whole.
