The Coalition of the Willing will hold a meeting today to coordinate next joint steps following the negotiations in Geneva, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced.
"This morning, I spoke with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer. It was a good and very productive conversation. I thanked the Prime Minister for the condolences he expressed to the Ukrainian people," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, last night there was another Russian attack — at a time when Ukraine, together with America, Europe, and many others around the world, is working literally around the clock to stop the bloodshed.
"After the meetings in Geneva, we see many prospects that can make the path to peace real. There are significant results, and a lot of work ahead," the President of Ukraine added.
He also noted that today, November 25, a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing will take place.
"We have coordinated positions and priority issues for discussion, as well as some of our next steps and contacts," Zelenskyy concluded.
What preceded
Earlier, the United States prepared a peace plan to end the war in Ukraine, comprising 28 points, most of which contradicted Ukrainian interests.
On November 23, the delegation began meetings in Geneva with the American side, represented by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump's adviser, and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
After the meeting, the delegations agreed on an updated framework document on peace. The previous version of the plan, which comprised 28 points, was reduced to 19 key provisions following discussion.
The plan, in particular, removed the issue of amnesty and the radical reduction of the Ukrainian army.
