China and Russia pose joint threat to world - Carney

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has stated that China is one of the biggest threats in terms of foreign interference in Canada and poses a new threat in the Arctic, according to Reuters.
"China is the biggest threat from a geopolitical sense," replied Mark Carney during debates on April 17 when asked to name the biggest threat to Canada's security.
Carney stated that Canada must counter the threats of foreign interference from China.
He also criticized China for being a partner to Russia in the war against Ukraine, adding that this poses a threat to all of Asia, and Taiwan in particular.
China is not interested in ending the war in Ukraine
Earlier, Valerii Klochok, head of the Vezha Center for Public Analytics and chairman of the Nova Doroha Charitable Foundation, noted that the challenges posed by China to the Eurasian continent remain underestimated. In his view, Europe is currently flirting with Beijing, while Donald Trump, judging by his actions, has a clear intention to weaken China, although the development of events may introduce some adjustments.
