Challenging, but fully under control: Zelenskyy on situation in Ukraine
The situation in Ukraine, both in terms of the economy and on the front line, is challenging but under control, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a joint press conference with Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov.
According to the president, discussing what is happening in Ukraine and how the country is supported by its partners could take a long time. Zelenskyy states that it's difficult to describe in one word the processes occurring both on the front line and at the borders or in neighboring countries.
"It's difficult to describe in one word. Using the language of our military, when I ask, 'What's happening on the battlefield today?' using their words, I'll answer your question: the situation is challenging, but fully under control," he says.
Earlier Zelenskyy spoke about the third year of full-scale war in Ukraine being pivotal. The format for ending the war will depend on it.
