This year determines format of ending war - Zelenskyy

The third year of the full-scale war in Ukraine is a turning point. It will determine the format of the end of the war, says Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"The first year was just survival, it was survival. You know, there are things that are never mentioned, but I'll tell you: isolated cities in Ukraine with hundreds of thousands of people without food and water, it was a nightmare. It was a terrible year of survival. We survived," the president said.
The second year, according to Zelenskyy, is a year of resilience.
"After the first year and the winter. Probably resilience. We showed it in all aspects. The West has united, the production of equipment has increased, and GDP has grown," the head of state explained.
As for the third year of the full-scale war, the President noted that it would be a turning point.
"The third year is a turning point. As I said, it is a year of elections, unfocusing, and challenges from outside and inside. This is such a crucial year. Therefore, in a crucial year, we need both courage and resilience to survive," Zelensky emphasized.
He added that the format of the end of the war will depend on this year.
"I think so, maybe I'm wrong," the president summarized.
Today, February 25, the forum "Ukraine. The Year 2024" with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took place.
The last press conference of the head of state took place last year, on December 19. At that time, Zelensky held a large press conference dedicated to the results of 2023. The meeting with journalists lasted two hours.
