Casualties rise: New details of Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia train station emerge

The number of injured in Zaporizhzhia following the air bomb strike on the train station on August 10 has increased. So far, there are 21 wounded victims, Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reports.

"At this time, there are already 21 injured due to Sunday's enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia," the statement says.

According to Fedorov, on August 11, a 44-year-old woman sought medical help. She received the necessary care and will be treated on an outpatient basis.

Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

On August 10, around 6:00 p.m. local time, the Russians struck Zaporizhzhia. Later, Fedorov reported that two enemy guided aerial bombs hit the city.

One of the strikes targeted the city's central bus station. The building was heavily damaged in the shelling. Another strike hit the clinic of Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University.

Fedorov posted a video showing the moment of a hit.

Rescue workers reported that 20 people were injured due to the shelling. One person was rescued by emergency service workers from under the rubble of destroyed structures.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also commented on the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia.
