Free Trade Agreement
The free trade agreement between Ukraine and Canada was concluded in 2017 and allowed the countries to eliminate or reduce tariffs on most goods. In September of last year, during a visit to Ottawa, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau signed an updated agreement, which now covers not only trade in goods but also services, investments, and telecommunications.
