The Ukrainian army is making progress to the south with some success, so it can be predicted that calls for negotiations will double in the near future, according to the advisor to the Head of the President's Office, Mykhailo Podolyak.

"In the aftermath: the Russian defense lines are starting to crumble. The Ukrainian army is making progress to the south, coming a step closer to gaining control of the 'land corridor' to Crimea," the message states.

Podolyak explains that all Russian supply lines are at stake, including railways. This means that the Russian army is on the brink of losing its strategic positions.

"Therefore, it can be predicted that calls for negotiations will double in the near future (or an immediate halt to arms supplies) and attempts to demoralize Ukraine from third parties will double as well, in order to make Ukrainians lose faith in their capabilities. Meanwhile... the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to push back," added the advisor to the Head of the President's Office.

Ukraine continues its counteroffensive

This summer, our defenders launched offensive operations in southern Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated over 10 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. Recently, Ukrainian soldiers entered the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region and raised the Ukrainian flag there.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces also continue their advance on the flanks near Bakhmut. As noted by the military command, there are successes there as well.
