Who is Mike Lynch
Mike Lynch is a British tech mogul known as the founder of Autonomy Corporation, a company that specializes in developing data analysis software. Autonomy was one of the largest IT companies in the UK, which was bought by the American corporation Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 2011 for $11 billion.
After the sale, legal disputes arose between Lynch and HP. HP accused Lynch of overstating the value of the company, which led to a fraud trial. In 2021, a British court found him guilty of fraud, and his extradition to the United States was requested for further proceedings.
