British PM Starmer to Zelenskyy: UK fully backs Ukraine

The UK continues to support Ukraine and will stand with the country for as long as necessary, informs Sky News, citing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
On March 1, Starmer met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During the meeting, he assured Zelenskyy that he has "the full backing across the United Kingdom."
"We stand with you and Ukraine for as long as it may take," the prime minister added.
In response, Ukraine’s leader expressed gratitude to the UK and noted that Kyiv counts on British support.
"Indeed, I have met many people, and I want to thank you, the people of the United Kingdom. Such strong support from the very beginning of this war — thank you, and thank your team," Zelenskyy said.
The president also expressed his satisfaction that King Charles III agreed to meet with him.
"I am very pleased that His Majesty the King has accepted my request for a meeting tomorrow. I am grateful that you have organized such a major summit. In Ukraine, we are very happy to have such strategic partners and to have signed a historic document with you," Zelenskyy concluded.
