42nd US President Bill Clinton intends to deliver a speech on the penultimate day of the Democratic Party convention, where he will call for support of Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz in the presidential election, informs USA Today News.

Former US President Bill Clinton will be the third head of state to address the members of the Democratic Party. His speech is scheduled for the main session on Wednesday evening, which will run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET.

Clinton's speech is expected to be preceded by an address from VP candidate Tim Walz.

It is not yet known what Clinton and Walz will say to the Democratic Party delegates. However, after Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the race, the Clintons were among the first to publicly support Harris's candidacy for the November 5 election.

Kamala Harris's speech is likely to take place on the last day of the Democratic Party convention after her candidacy has been formally recognized by the delegates.

The National Democratic Party convention is taking place in Chicago and will run from August 19 to 22. At the convention, delegates officially approve the party's candidates for president and vice president. They will be current Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

On the first day of the convention, the current US President delivered a speech. In his speech, Joe Biden urged Americans to vote for Harris. On the same day, the wife of the 42nd US President, Hillary Clinton, also took the floor. She supported Harris and publicly mocked Trump.

On the second day of the convention, the 44th US President, Barack Obama, delivered a keynote address in which he supported Harris's candidacy and called on Americans to participate more actively in the elections.
