Biden talks about China's real problems ahead of meeting with Xi Jinping
U.S. President Joe Biden, ahead of his anticipated meeting with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping at the summit in San Francisco, declared that Beijing is facing real problems, accoring to AFP.
The statement from the American leader came during a fundraising event a day before talks with the head of China aimed at restoring relations between Washington and Beijing.
"President Xi is another example of how reestablishing American leadership in the world is taking hold. They've got real problems," Biden said.
Biden's meeting with Xi Jinping
On November 15, U.S. President Joe Biden is set to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in San Francisco. This meeting will take place on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
According to Reuters, during the meeting, leaders will discuss Russia's invasion of Ukraine, North Korea's ties with Russia, the development of artificial intelligence, and more.
