What you need for battered broccoli
To prepare such an easy dinner, you will need the following ingredients:
- broccoli - 600 g
- flour - 60 g
- milk (2.5% fat) - 50 ml
- eggs - 2 pcs
- oil - 50 ml
- breadcrumbs - 60 g
- pepper - to taste
- salt - to taste
How to cook battered broccoli
First, wash the broccoli and divide it into florets. Put a pot of water on the stove, add salt to taste, and bring the water to a boil. Drop the broccoli florets into the boiling water.
Cook the broccoli for about 4 minutes, then drain the water through a colander and let the broccoli cool slightly.
Prepare the batter: crack the eggs into a bowl, add milk, salt, and pepper to taste. Whisk the mixture until smooth. Pour the flour onto one plate and the breadcrumbs onto another.
First, coat the cooled broccoli in flour, then dip it into the batter, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the broccoli until golden brown - and your easy dinner is ready.
