Potato dishes can be both unique and super simple. If you're looking to make something delicious for dinner or lunch, try this casserole with minced meat—you wouldn't even need the oven for that, according to Simple Recipes.


  • 400 grams of minced meat
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • A bunch of parsley
  • 5 eggs
  • Butter and olive oil
  • Cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


First, sauté the minced meat with the onion. Remove it from the heat once the onion becomes soft. Then add salt, pepper, and minced garlic.

Next, prepare the potatoes. Peel and dice them, then fry them in a pan with olive oil and butter. The potatoes should be browned on the outside but not fully cooked.

In a separate bowl, mix the eggs with the greens. Then, add the sautéed minced meat to the potatoes in the pan, pour in the egg mixture, and stir everything together.

Cover the dish with a lid and cook on low heat. The casserole will be ready when the eggs are cooked through, allowing the dish to hold its shape. Finally, grate cheese over the top and serve.
