Australia's support for Ukraine

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Australia has been actively supporting Ukraine with significant military and financial assistance.

In July 2024, Australia announced the largest military aid package in the world, worth $250 million. It included guided missiles, air defense missiles, anti-tank weapons, ammunition, and other equipment.

In November 2024, as part of a new military aid package, Australia donated 14 hard-hulled boats worth $14 million to Ukraine to strengthen its maritime defense.

In December 2024, Australia provided $50 million through the International Fund to purchase priority military equipment for Ukraine.

The total amount of support from Australia is about $1.5 billion, of which $1.3 billion is allocated for military assistance and the rest for humanitarian and financial needs.

In general, Australia demonstrates unwavering support for Ukraine by providing significant military, financial, and humanitarian assistance in the fight against Russian aggression.
