In Dnipro, large-scale fires following yesterday’s drone attack have been extinguished. Destroyed buildings, cars, and rescue vehicles were reported, with 21 people injured and 4 fatalities, according to the State Emergency Service.

According to emergency services, the massive drone strike by Russians caused widespread destruction and fires in the city. The State Emergency Service reported that the following were affected: a hotel-restaurant complex, 11 private homes, garages, and service stations.

Additionally, apartment buildings and 21 vehicles were damaged, and two units of firefighting and rescue equipment were also affected.

“Fires have been extinguished. Over 150 rescuers and 40 units of State Emergency Service equipment were involved in the operations,” the Service informed.

Drone attack on Dnipro

On the evening of March 28, Russians launched kamikaze drones at Ukraine. It later became known that explosions were heard in Dnipro due to an enemy UAV strike.

Initially, local authorities reported 4 people injured, and a large fire broke out at a restaurant complex.

The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration added that an apartment building and private homes also caught fire in Dnipro.

Later, it was confirmed that four people died in the Russian drone strike, and the number of injured increased to 19.

The Regional Military Administration also clarified that the targets of the Russian attack were purely civilian objects in the city. A search and rescue operation was conducted in Dnipro.
