Ukrainian Forces successfully eiminate Russian General during attack on Belbek airfield in Crimea, according to Telegram channel Crimean Wind.

Russian general Alexander Tatarenko was successfully eliminated during an attack on the temporarily occupied Belbek airfield in Crimea.

According to Russian sources, ten Russian military personnel were reportedly eliminated during the attack, including Major General Alexander Tatarenko, the Commander of an aviation squadron.

About Tatarenko

Information from open sources indicates that the eliminated general was 63 years old. He served in the Russian Far East, Urals, Siberia, and northern regions. In 2016, he was appointed the Commander of the 14th Army of the Aerospace Forces and Air Defense of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation. He held the rank of Military Pilot, 1st Class.

Attack on Belbek airfield

On January 31, explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Occupiers claimed the launch of "20 missiles," which they claimed to have successfully intercepted.
