Apple Watch Series 9 released in new color
Apple has joined the (RED) initiative, aimed at the global fight against HIV/AIDS by creating exclusive products with the participation of well-known brands and allocating a portion of the proceeds from their sales to support this initiative, according to the Apple news press service.
As part of its participation in the initiative, the company has introduced a special version of the Apple Watch Series 9 smartwatch with a case made of red aluminum and a corresponding sports strap of the same color.
The Apple Red Watch model also features a new Solar Analog watch face, specially developed for World AIDS Day. Other technical specifications are similar to the standard model.

Founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver, the company (RED) is dedicated to fighting AIDS and collaborates with leading global brands to create products, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the battle against HIV.
Funds are channeled to the Global Fund to support key programs that enhance medical capabilities and contribute to the implementation of new treatment methodologies.
Apple has been collaborating with (RED) since 2006. As per the (RED) initiative tradition, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the smartwatch will be directed to the Global Fund. The new red version can be purchased on the Apple online store and retail outlets for $399 (approximately 15,000 uah).
The Apple Watch Series 9 Red smartwatch is equipped with the S9 chip and a quad-core neural processor. It has a battery life of 18 hours, operates 30% faster than the Series 8, and features a display with a maximum brightness of 2000 nits.
