Apple has officially announced the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025. The event will start on June 9 and last until June 13 at Apple Park in California, reports 9to5Mac.

WWDC25 will be available free of charge to all developers and will focus on the latest developments in Apple software. As part of its ongoing support for developers, the conference will provide them with unique access to Apple experts, as well as information about new tools, frameworks, and features.

The format of WWDC 2025 will be similar to the previous years. Apple reports that the event will be "fully online" and free for developers. However, a special event will be held at Apple Park on June 9. Places for participation in this event are limited.

At WWDC, Apple hints that it will showcase the latest achievements in software.

"We're excited to celebrate another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community. We look forward to sharing new tools and technologies that will enable developers to continue to innovate," said Susan Prescott, vice president of global developer relations at Apple.

Apple will present its new operating systems at WWDC in June. This includes:

  • iOS 19
  • iPadOS 19
  • visionOS 3
  • tvOS 19
  • macOS 16
  • watchOS 12

According to rumors, iOS 19 will be "one of the most dramatic software updates" in Apple's history. It is expected that the update will refresh the design of icons, menus, applications, windows, and other elements. It will also simplify the process of navigation and device management. Bloomberg reports that this update will be "the biggest since iOS 7" in 2013.
