Another fragment of a Russian drone found in northern Poland

The Military Gendarmerie in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in northern Poland has launched an investigation after fragments of a Russian drone were found on its territory, according to the gendarmerie’s press service on Twitter (X) and RMF FM.
According to reports, the Military Gendarmerie unit in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship is "carrying out operational actions at the site where an unidentified flying object was found."
RMF FM reported that the drone fragments were discovered by a combine harvester operator in a cornfield.
Law enforcement authorities preliminarily believe that it was one of the drones that violated Polish airspace on the night of September 10.
Drone attack on Poland
On the night of September 10, around 20 Russian drones entered Polish airspace, most coming from Belarus. Polish air defense forces managed to shoot down four of the drones.
Fragments of 16 Russian drones were later found across 11 settlements in Poland. One drone even fell on the territory of a military base.
According to media reports, Russia may have attempted to target a NATO base in Poland, as some of the drones were heading in its direction.
In response to the Russian attack, NATO invoked Article 4, allowing member states to discuss the situation with allies in the North Atlantic Council.
NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte described the Alliance’s response to the incident in Poland as "highly successful," emphasizing that the night demonstrated NATO’s readiness to defend every inch of its territory, including its airspace.
Meanwhile, on September 13, NATO launched the Eastern Sentry operation in Poland to strengthen the defense of Europe’s eastern flank in response to the Russian drones’ incursion into Polish airspace.
