Blockade at the Romanian border

Recall that Romanian protesters had previously blocked three border crossing points with Ukraine. These include the checkpoints Siret-Porubne, Vicovu de Sus-Krasnoilsk and Halmeu-Dyakovo.

Romanian farmers initiated the blockade of the Ukrainian border on January 13. They suspended the blockade twice while awaiting the results of negotiations.

Yesterday, on January 19, Romanian farmers ended the blockade of the Vicovu de Sus border crossing point on the border with Ukraine.
