Already on the way? Rutte reveals when Ukraine will receive promised Patriot systems

Ukraine will soon receive new Patriot air defense systems. Their allies promised to transfer them during last year's NATO summit, according to an interview with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during the national telethon live broadcast.
Rutte noted that there is usually little time between the announcement of new military aid for Ukraine and its delivery.
The Secretary General added that, for example, at the NATO summit in Washington, a commitment was made to supply Ukraine with Patriot systems, and it took little time. He also noted that, fortunately, most of them had already been delivered or would be delivered soon.
According to him, last week it was confirmed that everything necessary for the delivery of the Patriot system has been gathered.
Patriot for Ukraine
At last year's NATO summit in Washington, partners promised to transfer five long-range air defense systems to Ukraine. This included four Patriot systems and one SAMP/T.
It was known that Germany provided one Patriot system to Ukraine, and Romania another. Meanwhile, the United States and the Netherlands also committed to supplying such systems, though there is no publicly available information on their delivery.
Patriot systems are essential for Ukraine to destroy Russian ballistic missiles.
Just recently, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine has not yet received all the systems promised at the NATO summit.
