Zelenskyy’s meeting with Trump
On September 23, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Zelenskyy met with US President Donald Trump.
After the discussion, the President of Ukraine told journalists that Trump had begun to trust the Russian President Vladimir Putin less due to his unreliable information about the situation in Ukraine.
Following the meeting, Trump expressed on his social network, Truth Social, confidence that Ukraine is capable of reclaiming all territories occupied by Russia.
Previously, Trump had repeatedly stated that Ukraine would have to cede some territories.
In response, the President of Ukraine called this statement a very "positive signal."
