South Korea plane crash

On Sunday, December 29, a Boeing 737-800 passenger plane of Jeju Air, operating flight 7C2216, crashed at Muan Airport in South Korea. The plane was flying from Bangkok, with most of the passengers being South Korean nationals.

The plane was unable to deploy its landing gear and skidded off the runway, crashing into the outer wall of the airport and catching fire. The preliminary cause of the failure is attributed to landing gear malfunction caused by a bird strike.
