Russia has blocked access through the bay in Sevastopol, located in the occupied Crimea, and claimed an attack by maritime drones, as reported by the Crimean Wind Telegram channel and local Crimean channels.

At around 9:00 p.m. Kyiv time, the Russian military announced the closure of traffic over the Crimean Bridge. Additionally, there were claims of a missile attack.

Later, the Russians announced the suspension of maritime traffic in Sevastopol. Subsequently, they closed the bay completely and declared an air raid alarm.

Initially, Russia reported a missile attack on the peninsula, then claimed sightings of maritime drones in the bay, and later an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles.

The situation in the occupied Crimea

Explosions have become more frequent in the Crimea, occupied by Russia. This is due to Ukrainian intelligence conducting special operations there to destroy Russian equipment.

Recently, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine used a Magura V5 marine drone to hit a Russian speedboat.

It is also known that thanks to these maritime drones, more than one Russian ship was destroyed and sunk.
