Air Forces showcased new video of downing Russian drones
On Tuesday, December 5, Russian invaders traditionally launched attacks using strike drones of the Shahed type on the southern, central, and western regions. The Ukrainian Air Force released a video showcasing the destruction of enemy flying objects, according to the Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.
The commander, Mykola Oleshchuk, released a video showcasing the destruction of strike UAVs in the southern part of the country and commended the work of military personnel and anti-aircraft defense operators.
"Today, the Air Command South is in action! They are destroying everything - both enemy aircraft and strike drones! Thanks to everyone involved for their work! We continue the anti-air battle against the Shahed (drones)," wrote Oleshchuk.
Russian drone attacks against Ukraine
On the evening of December 5, Russian invaders continued their traditional attacks using the Shahed strike drones in southern regions. An air alarm was declared in the Odesa region, and an explosion was reported in Odesa. The military administration reported the operation of air defense systems in the region.
Currently, enemy Shahed drones are flying over the Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
During the previous night, invaders attacked with drones in southern and central regions. Air Defense Forces successfully downed 10 out of 17 enemy drones.
Also, on December 5, the Air Force destroyed a Russian Su-24M bomber near Zmiinyi Island.
