As a result of a drone strike on a residential building in Dnipro, one person was killed and ten others were injured, including two children, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
On the night of November 8, a Russian attack drone struck a nine-story residential building in Dnipro.
The impact destroyed several apartments between the fourth and sixth floors and caused a fire, which rescuers promptly extinguished.
During emergency response operations, rescuers evacuated 28 people, including five children.
The State Emergency Service shared photos and videos of the rescue operation on its official channel.
The body of a woman was found in an apartment on the fifth floor.
Ten people, including two children, sought medical assistance; six of them, one a child, were hospitalized.
"SES psychologists are providing support to victims on site. Three heating and shelter points have been set up for residents. All emergency services continue to work at the scene," the State Emergency Service reported.
Massive attack on Dnipro and region
Earlier, acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration Vladyslav Haivanenko said that drones had struck residential and private properties across Dnipro and the wider region, causing destruction, fires, and civilian casualties, including children.
In particular, a private house caught fire in the Samarskyi district, a local store was damaged in Pavlohrad, and infrastructure destruction was recorded in the Synelnykove district.
Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov noted that rescue operations in the city were ongoing, but due to continued strikes and air raid alerts, it was not yet possible to determine the exact number of casualties.
