After Russian attack on Kremenchuk, dangerous cluster bombs detected

Cluster munitions were discovered in Kremenchuk following a Russian attack. They pose a serious threat to human life, according to the Poltava regional police.
Russian occupiers used cluster munitions in the Kremenchuk district of the Poltava region.
Following the overnight combined strike, local police reported numerous cases of dangerous metal spheres approximately 10 cm in diameter being found — remnants of cluster submunitions.

These munitions are especially dangerous for children, as they resemble toys or balls in appearance.
The police remind the public that it is strictly prohibited to touch, move, or approach suspicious objects.
If cluster submunitions are found, people should immediately notify the police by calling 102 or contact the State Emergency Service (DSNS).
Law enforcement urges parents and guardians to explain to children that touching unknown objects is life-threatening and to teach them safety rules.
For up-to-date information, they recommend trusting only official sources.
Attack on Kremenchuk
Russian occupiers launched a massive missile and drone attack on Kremenchuk in the Poltava region during the night of June 21. The enemy strikes hit energy infrastructure and open areas in the district.
According to Volodymyr Kohut, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, most of the incoming threats were shot down by air defense forces, but several hits still caused damage. Emergency Service units are working on site to deal with the aftermath of the shelling.
One person sustained moderate injuries as a result of the attack. Kremenchuk’s mayor, Vitalii Maletskyi, added that residential areas were affected — high-rise and private houses were damaged, windows were shattered, and vehicles were destroyed.
