Russians attack Kremenchuk with missiles and drones: Energy facilities hit

Russians launched a massive missile and drone attack on Kremenchuk, Poltava region, during the night of June 21. Hits on energy infrastructure have been reported, according to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, on Telegram.
"The enemy once again carried out a massive combined attack on the Poltava region. Most of the incoming threats were shot down by air defense forces and systems," he said.
In the Kremenchuk district, direct hits and falling debris were recorded at energy infrastructure facilities and in open areas.
According to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, units of the State Emergency Service are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack. One person sustained moderate injuries as a result of the shelling.
The mayor of Kremenchuk, Vitalii Maletskyi, reported that residential neighborhoods in the city were also affected by the shelling. Both private and apartment buildings sustained damage — windows were shattered, and window frames were destroyed. Damage to civilian vehicles was also recorded.

As a reminder, explosions were heard in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, during the night. Local media reported that the enemy attacked the city with drones and various types of missiles, including ballistic ones.
According to local residents, at least 40 explosions were heard in the city overnight.
Strike on Kremenchuk
Last week, on June 15, Russian forces also carried out a massive strike on Kremenchuk. At the time, local media described the attack as one of the largest on the city since the beginning of the full-scale war.
The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration reported that energy and agricultural infrastructure facilities in the Kremenchuk community were targeted by the Russian strike. A private house, a vehicle, and a power line were also damaged.
