80% destroyed: Russian forces turn village in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region into ruins

Malokaterynivka in the Zaporizhzhia district has been reduced to ruins after a Russian strike. The village was almost completely destroyed, leaving residents without shelter, said Volodymyr Sosunovskyi, head of the Kushuhum community in the Zaporizhzhia district.
On the night of August 29, Russian forces carried out four airstrikes on Malokaterynivka. Civilians were injured in the attack, including a one-year-old boy who received full medical care and a 70-year-old man who was also wounded.
"Today, the village of Malokaterynivka suffered devastating destruction - around 80% of the housing stock was destroyed. People are left without a roof over their heads, they have nowhere to live, and are begging for help," Sosunovskyi said.
