A one-year-old boy was injured as a result of a Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia region. Fires broke out in several private houses, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

Russian forces struck the village of Malokaterynivka in the Zaporizhzhia region four times.

As a result of the strikes, several private houses caught fire. The blast wave also damaged nearby homes and outbuildings.

The one-year-old boy who was injured has received all necessary medical care.

A 70-year-old man was also injured in the Zaporizhzhia district.

In total, over the past day, the Russian army carried out 553 strikes on 13 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

There were 45 reports of destroyed houses, apartments, farm buildings, cars, and infrastructure facilities.

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, on Thursday, August 28, the Russian army attacked a facility in Zaporizhzhia, causing a fire.

Ivan Fedorov also reported that two Russian strike drones were moving along the Dnipro River toward Zaporizhzhia.

On the same day, Russian forces struck infrastructure targets in the Vinnytsia region. Seventeen settlements were left without power, and several residential buildings were damaged.
