Since the beginning of the day on September 6, there have been 102 combat clashes at the front. The hottest areas today are the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian shelling

According to the General Staff, border settlements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions continue to suffer from cynical shelling from Russian territory.

Today, artillery and mortar fire has affected areas around Semenivka, Zarichchia, Bobylivka, Khodyne, Mykolaivka, and Boyaro-Lezhachi. Additionally, the Russian troops carried out six air strikes, using seven KABs (guided aerial bombs) on areas such as Bezdryk, Malushyne, Yunakivka, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Yampil, and Rivne.

Furthermore, according to available information, the occupying army continues to drop aerial bombs on the Kursk region. Currently, there are reports of 16 airstrikes using 16 KABs.

Situations in directions

Today, in the Kharkiv direction, Russia conducted one attack near Vovchansk, where clashes are ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out 12 offensive actions near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Andriivka, Berestove, and Stelmakhivka. Eight attacks were repelled, while four are still ongoing. Russia also struck with NARs in the areas of Stelmakhivka and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked our defenders' positions nine times near Novoehorivka, Druzhliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Terny, Torske, and Dibrova. Five battles have ended, and four are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy advanced near Verkhnokamianske and Spirne throughout the day. Two clashes are ongoing near Verkhniokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy made three assault actions near Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, and Andriivka. The defense forces repelled the enemy's attacks.

In the Toretsk direction, Russia launched five attacks near Toretsk and Nelipivka. Four attacks have ended, and one is still ongoing.

Additionally, the enemy carried out air strikes on Toretsk and Druzhba.

In the Pokrovsk Direction, the Russian forces carried out assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Oleksandropil, Zelenе Pole, Vozdvizhenka, Novotroitske, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, and Mykhailivka.

The most active enemy actions are observed near Novohrodivka, where more than a third of all offensive actions took place. In total, the defense forces repelled 20 attacks, and seven clashes are ongoing. Enemy losses are being confirmed. The enemy also conducted an airstrike in the Oleksandropil area.

The situation is tense in the Kurakhove direction, where the invaders launched 32 attacks near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, and Heorhiivka. Six battles are still ongoing.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy conducted five assault actions near Vodiane and Staromaiorske. The attacks have been stopped.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, five enemy attacks were repelled, with the enemy making no progress.

"In other directions of the front, the situation remains unchanged," the General Staff added.

Frontline situation and Russian losses

According to the General Staff, during the previous day, September 5, 181 combat clashes were recorded. The Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest, with Russian activity also high in the Kurakhove direction.

Yesterday, aviation, rocket troops, and artillery of the defense forces conducted 15 strikes on areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment. Additionally, they struck a command post and four air defense systems.

Over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,170 soldiers, 7 tanks, 9 armored combat vehicles, 20 artillery systems, and other equipment on the front.
