Russian attack on Kyiv kills one and injures 22, including children

On the night of October 22, Russians once again struck Kyiv with drones and ballistic missiles. At least one person was killed, and 22 more civilians were injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to rescue workers, four children were among the victims.
The Russians launched ballistic missiles at six districts of Kyiv simultaneously.
One person was killed in the Dniprovskyi district, and five others were injured. A child was hospitalized.

Residential buildings and cars were also damaged, and fires broke out in residential and non-residential structures.

In the Darnytskyi district, damage to transportation infrastructure was reported. No information about casualties has been received.

In the Sviatoshynsky district, a non-residential building and a restaurant complex caught fire. Rescue workers extinguished the fire, which covered an area of 1,100 square meters.

In the Obolonskyi district, non-residential buildings were damaged, and fires broke out. Two people were injured as a result of the Russian attack. All fires were extinguished.

In the Pecherskyi district, buildings, ambulances, and a monastery were damaged. Eight people were injured, including three children.

In the Holosiivskyi district, six people were injured when a non-residential building was hit.
Due to Russian strikes on Kyiv, traffic across the Pivdennyi (South) Bridge from the right bank to the left bank has been restricted.
