Presidential Office outlines expectations for Zelenskyy's visit to Poland
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on a working visit to Poland. This is an important moment in bilateral relations between the two countries, said Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, in a commentary to the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.
A journalist asked Podolyak what to expect from the Ukrainian President's visit to Poland. The advisor to the head of the Presidential Office responded that the visit should lead to a return to the most effective and friendly relations with Poland, as, in his view, this is beneficial for both Ukraine and Poland.
"And expect the right, in my opinion, historical decisions. This once again highlights Ukraine's subjectivity and the understanding of the role of history in our bilateral relations, and how important these relations are for us. This is a key moment in our bilateral relations today. We can gain a lot of positive outcomes now," Podolyak emphasized.
He stressed that for more detailed comments, it is better to wait for official statements.
"Let's wait for the official statements, and then we’ll have the context to comment, as it will give a full understanding of what is being discussed," he said.
