According to the office of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Warsaw today, January 15, Reuters reports.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will personally participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 20-24.

Representatives from more than 130 countries are expected to attend Davos, including more than 60 heads of state and government and more than 1,600 business representatives.

Zelenskyy is scheduled to arrive in Davos on Tuesday, January 21. This is the first time the Ukrainian president has participated in the event since 2024.

Zelenskyy often meets with Polish leaders. Meanwhile, relations between the two countries are not always smooth. In particular, Zelenskyy accuses Warsaw of not handing over old MiG-29 fighter jets to Kyiv.

In addition, Poland refuses to shoot down Russian missiles attacking western Ukraine. Poland raises its air force during missile strikes, allowing missiles to fly into its territory, and does not shoot them down when the missiles return.

In particular, Poland raised its air force during the missile strike on Ukraine on January 15.

Another issue is the exhumation of the remains of Polish victims of the Volyn tragedy, which has not been carried out for a long time. The procedure is necessary for reburial. However, on January 10, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that agreements had been reached on the first exhumations of the victims of the Volyn tragedy. This was later confirmed by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
