Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Poland for a working visit. He has a number of meetings scheduled there, RBC-Ukraine reports, referring to the press secretary of the President of Ukraine, Serhiy Nykyforov.

According to the press secretary, a meeting between Zelenskyy and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is set to begin shortly, followed by a meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

There will also be a meeting with the Ukrainian community and other events.

Later, the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, Andriy Yermak, also confirmed Zelenskyy's visit to Poland.

"War, weapons, sanctions, history, weakening Russian energy as a tool for funding the war. Everyone needs a weak Putin and a strong Europe," Yermak added.

Details of Zelenskyy's visit to Poland

The Polish Prime Minister's Office previously reported that Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would travel to Warsaw on Wednesday to meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

"The Government Information Center reports that on January 15, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy," the statement says.

Afterward, a joint press conference of Zelenskyy and Tusk is expected in the afternoon. According to Reuters, it will be held at 11:40 GMT (13:40 Kyiv time).

In addition, next week, President Zelenskyy may personally attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, which will take place from January 20 to 24.

As reported by the forum's president, Børge Brende, Zelenskyy is expected to arrive in Davos on Tuesday, January 21. Other leaders attending the forum include European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
