Expert on Russian breakthrough in Kupiansk: More cases are likely
Russian forces will repeatedly attempt to break through to Kupiansk using armored vehicles, as the city is only 1.5 kilometers from the front line, stated military-political analyst for the Information Resistance group, Oleksandr Kovalenko, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine’s YouTube channel.
He stated that Russian forces had an opportunity to breach Kupiansk with one of their assault groups, using armored vehicles. They broke through at high speed but were unable to establish a foothold, and the assault group was destroyed.
According to Kovalenko, there are currently no soldiers in Kupiansk, but the threat remains as the city is so close to the front line.
"What is it like to drive 1.5 kilometers at 60 km/h in an armored vehicle? So, I believe such cases will continue. The Russians will try to break through in this manner, as it is their general tactic. They've been doing the same in the area around Kurakhove in recent weeks," he added.

Later, DeepState released a video showing the Russian attack on Kupiansk. Analysts noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed Russian equipment, but about 15 occupiers scattered across buildings in Kupiansk.
According to the head of the Kupiansk Military Civil Administration, as of the morning of November 14, the situation in the city is under control. He emphasized that the Russian army did not establish a foothold, and the soldiers who remained in the city were eliminated.
Additionally, DeepState reported Russian military advancements in Kupiansk.
