Zelenskyy: Without China, Putin's Russia is nothing

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia is fully dependent on China, and argued that if Beijing wanted the war in Ukraine to end, it could force Moscow to halt hostilities.
The comments came during his address to a UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of using its veto power in the UN Security Council to prolong what he called the largest war in Europe since World War II.
"Russia does this with the help of its veto right," he said during his remarks at the Council.
Zelenskyy also singled out China, stressing that Moscow is entirely dependent on Beijing.
"China is also represented here, a powerful state on which Russia is fully dependent today. If China truly wanted this war to end, it would force Moscow to stop the invasion. Without China, Putin’s Russia is nothing," he declared.
Zelenskyy's New York visit
The Ukrainian leader arrived in New York late on September 22 to take part in the UN General Assembly session, the Ukraine children’s repatriation summit, the Crimea Platform, and other meetings.
He also met with US President Donald Trump. After their talks, Trump said Russia’s economy was collapsing and wrote on social media that Ukraine could fully restore its territorial integrity and even "go further."
