Zelenskyy visits Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions in Robotyne

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the positions of Ukrainian military in Robotyne, on the Zaporizhzhia front, on February 4, informs the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Telegram channel. The village was liberated from occupiers in August 2023.
"Zaporizhzhia region, Robotyne. Visited the location of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Spoke with the defenders, expressed gratitude, and presented state awards," he shared.
According to the president, it is an honor for him to be here today to support and commend the soldiers.
"They bear a difficult and crucial mission on their shoulders - to repel the enemy and protect Ukraine. We take pride in our soldiers, thank each one!" added the head of state.
Liberation of Robotyne village
In late July 2023, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian forces had advanced towards Robotyne. On August 22, 2023, it was announced that Ukrainian defenders, engaging in combat, entered the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region and organized the evacuation of civilians.
The next day, our defenders raised the Ukrainian flag over the village. On August 28, 2023, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially confirmed the liberation of Robotyne.
Despite the liberation, Russian forces continue to launch attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Robotyne area of the Zaporizhzhia region, attempting to regain control of the village. The last day was no exception.
"In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack in the area of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region," according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's report as of 10:00 am on February 4.
