Zelenskyy visited command post of Pokrovsk tactical group

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the command post of the Pokrovsk tactical group. This took place as part of his trip to the Donetsk region, according to the president's website.

"Volodymyr Zelenskyy also met with Madiar, Achilles, Khasan, Veres, and Zemliak — the commanders of the "Drone Line," which unites the best UAV units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.

Zelenskyy visited the command post of the tactical group Pokrovsk (president.gov.ua)

The president also reviewed the initial results of the project during operations in the Kursk region, as well as in the Donetsk and other directions.

Zelenskyy awarded soldiers with the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, II and III class.

Situation on the Pokrovsk front

Acting commander Yurii Madiar reported on the defense of the Pokrovsk direction, including the operational situation, how the brigades within the group are performing their tasks, the intentions of the Russian occupiers, and their forces and resources.

It’s worth noting that there were 142 combat clashes on the front line over the past day. Specifically, in the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 37 Russian assaults.

Zelenskyy in Donetsk region

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Donetsk region on March 22. He published a video from the iconic Donetsk region stele.

Additionally, this is not Zelenskyy’s first visit to Donetsk region. For example, he visited the region on April 19 last year.

At that time, he visited wounded Ukrainian defenders and inspected the construction of fortifications.
