Zelenskyy: Ukraine, US agree to resume negotiations in 10 days

Ukraine and the US will resume negotiations in 10 days. During this time, discussions are scheduled with European partners and Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told journalists.
Zelenskyy spoke about his meeting with US President Donald Trump in New York.
According to him, the leaders discussed general issues during the meeting. Afterward, the Ukrainian and US negotiating teams held a separate, lengthy meeting to work out the details.
“The agreement is as follows: we will inform the European side and discuss the details with them. The Americans will talk with the Russians. And in 10 days, we will return with one perspective or another and with a result,” the president said.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the administration of US President Donald Trump is insisting on three urgent steps as part of efforts to de-escalate Russia’s war against Ukraine and restore diplomatic relations with Moscow.
These are:
- A ceasefire regarding energy infrastructure;
- The resumption of the grain corridor in the Black Sea;
- A trilateral meeting between the US, Ukraine, and Russia, likely in Abu Dhabi.
