Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia launched hundreds of drones, bombs, and dozens of missiles at Ukraine in just one week. Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed 33 missiles and more than 300 drones.

"This week alone, the Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 33 missiles, including ballistic ones, and 311 attack drones," the head of state noted.

Another 136 enemy drones failed to reach their targets. Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the soldiers defending Ukraine's skies.

According to the president, in total, the Russian army used about 550 attack drones, nearly 60 missiles of various types, and more than 660 aerial bombs in just one week. Zelenskyy urged Ukraine's partners to strengthen its air defense systems.

"More Patriots for Ukraine mean more protection for lives. More long-range capabilities for Ukraine mean more guarantees that Russia's war can be stopped," he added.
