Zelenskyy to present victory plan in Parliament this week
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will publicly present a victory plan. This will take place during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament - ed.) this week, according to the advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Serhiy Leshchenko, and MP Oleksii Honcharenko.
Leshchenko stated that President Zelenskyy's address to the Verkhovna Rada will take place on Wednesday, October 16.
"Obviously, there is only one reason for this event now — the public presentation of the victory plan," clarified the advisor to the head of the Office of the President.
In turn, Honcharenko confirmed this information.
A source in the Verkhovna Rada confirmed to RBC-Ukraine that the President will present the victory plan in the Parliament.
"Yes, there will be a meeting on Wednesday morning, and the President will present the victory plan. This will be a presentation of this plan for Ukraine," he said.
Victory plan
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy first announced the victory plan just a few months ago.
The full content of the document has not yet been publicly disclosed, but the head of state mentioned some of its points without going into details. In particular, the victory plan includes strong military support for Ukraine, the unrestricted use of military aid for the Armed Forces, economic support, and more.
Additionally, the plan mentions the operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region, during which successes were achieved in both territorial control over enemy-held areas and replenishing the exchange fund.
Zelenskyy recently explained that the victory plan is necessary to force Russia to end the war through diplomacy.
