Zelenskyy to meet with Scholz in US
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy next week in the United States. The meeting will take place during the UN General Assembly in New York.
According to media reports, Scholz and Zelenskyy will meet on Monday in New York.
"We want to send a signal in New York that this conflict, this Russian war of aggression, is on the agenda," a German government spokesperson said of Scholz's trip to the United States.
In addition to Zelenskyy, Scholz is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
