Zelenskyy to meet Japan's Prime Minister in US

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. They will hold talks during his visit to the US, according to NHK.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is beginning his final visit to the US today, September 21, as he is set to leave his position soon.
In the US, Kishida will meet with US President Joe Biden at the leader's private residence in Delaware. There will also be a summit involving Japan, the US, Australia, and India. According to reports, the countries are expected to agree on enhancing maritime security cooperation amid rising Chinese aggression.
The Japanese leader will participate in the UN General Assembly in New York, where he plans to call for UN reforms. He is also likely to emphasize the importance of advancing efforts to ban nuclear weapons.
Kishida will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who will be in the US at the same time. It is expected that he will convey Japan's commitment to supporting Kyiv and maintaining sanctions against Russia.
Zelenskyy will visit the US next week
