President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with European leaders in Copenhagen today, October 2, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced, according to Reuters.

It is reported that Zelenskyy will also address the European Political Community today, which is expected to be attended by approximately 50 heads of state and government, as well as EU leaders.

The head of state will also later hold a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Denmark, during which he will discuss the results of the meeting with European politicians.

Summit of the European Political Community

The European Political Community (EPC) was established in 2022 as a platform for political and strategic dialogue on the future of Europe. The initiative arose after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The first meeting of the EPC took place in October of the same year in Prague, where representatives of 44 European countries, as well as the presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, gathered.

In November of last year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in the European Political Community summit in Budapest. This was his first visit to Hungary since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, will not take part in the European Political Community summit due to health issues related to the assassination attempt against him.
